Winter Arrives
A Blanket of Snow Slows Us Down
The Studio has been buzzing with energy lately and we are seeing lots of new and returning faces coming in for classes. Now, a short break for a little snow and we will be back on track for whats next!
In the meantime, (one can dream...) now would be the time to consider if you would like to take a yoga retreat in 2012 or 2013.
Also it is a good time to recommit to your health and well-being. We are here to help you with that commitment, with plenty of classes, workshops and other events to choose from.

If you are wanting to do either or both of these retreats, now would be the time to let us know. A deposit (by February 15) will hold space for you.

In Appreciation
Our Volunteer Workers Keep Everything Running Smoothly
Sometimes you see Dawn, Peggy or Rosemary behind the reception desk at Movement Arts. They are all friendly and helpful to anyone who comes in. They provide Kara and Shelley with a much needed midday break. Welcome also to Jackie Kertz, who will now be there each Friday. We appreciate all of you so much!
Mom is Healing at Home
My recent trip to stay with my mother Kate as she underwent major back surgery was an opportunity for me to nurture my mother as she has nurtured me, and also to spend time with my Step Dad as we maneuvered through a huge hospital in Annapolis, Maryland. I stayed until she was safely home (after a few nights sleeping on a couch in the hospital, yikes) and quickly returned to get back to teaching. Thanks to all who filled in in my absence!
Check out the Northwest Yoga Conference Kara, Craig and Shelley will be teaching workshops there, Feb 18 & 19, 2012
All the Best,
Kara
