How to Get to Arlington, WA

Visiting the Studio: We are open only before, during, and after classes, so save yourself a trip and visit the studio only during those times. Otherwise, you may find a locked door!

From I-5, Arlington Exit 208
Take exit 208 and head east towards Arlington. You will pass a cluster of restaurants and gas stations as you get off the freeway. After the Tesoro gas station on your right, you will take a right on to Smokey Point Blvd. Now you are heading south for just a few blocks, and then take a left on to 204th Street NE, also known as Cemetery Road. Movement Arts is the second place on your right. Look for the large gravel parking lot (before the circular driveway). See Parking Directions

From I-5, Smokey Point Exit 206
Take exit 206, head east on 172nd towards Smokey Point. At the light, take a left on to Smokey Point Blvd. Follow this road heading north for about 2 miles. You will pass the Stump Restaurant on your right, then proceed down the hill into the valley. At the bottom of the hill, take a right on to 204th Street NE (also known as Cemetery Road). The Big Red Barn is the second place on the right. Look for the large gravel parking lot (before the circular driveway). See Parking Directions

From Highway 9
From Highway 9 heading North, turn left (west) onto 204th St NE/Cemetery Rd. Proceed 2 1/2 miles, following the road. Go past High Clover Park housing development on your right, down the hill into the flat valley. Eventually the road will make a very sharp left turn. After that turn, Movement arts is the second place on your left. Go past the house and driveway and turn in to the student parking area on your left. See Parking Directions

Parking Directions
As you approach the barn, you will see a large gravel parking lot, with tall trees in the front. Please pull in here (do not pull into the circular driveway or park anywhere that is not the student parking area). Please park facing directly south or north, no angle parking. Park carefully so we can accommodate all students for the class. In the interest of traffic flow, please enter the parkign area from the west entrance, and leave from the east exit.

Note: Food and drinks (other than water) are not allowed in the studio.
Please leave children at home, as we have no facilities to accommodate them.

Safety note: Because we are located out of a commercial area, it is easy to assume you can leave your car unlocked with valuables inside. In September of 2005 we had several “smash and grab” incidents. To avoid any further incidents, please follow these safety precautions. Make sure you do not leave anything of value in your car and keep the inside of your car free of bags, etc. Locking your car is always a good idea.
