Yoga teacher training The teaching staff includes Kara Keating and Shelley Dorland (teaching methodology, techniques, ethics, subtle anatomy) and Craig London, PT (physical anatomy).
Movement Arts is a Registered Yoga School with the Yoga Alliance, meeting National Educational standards at the 200 hour level. One the the course is completed, graduates are able to register on-line with the Yoga Alliance as a RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher, 200 level.)
Requirements for registration: participants must have minimum of two years study of yoga, and have a regular home or in-class practice.
Requirements for completion of course: Participants must be available for class times and complete reading/listening/writing assignments on their own. Teachers-in-training will be enrolled in an apprenticeship program and must complete the required number of hours of teaching in the studio, and in the community. If you are taking the course but not planning on becoming a teacher you will not be required to do an apprenticeship.
