Prenatal yoga is a class specifically designed for the journey of pregnancy, with postures, breathing techniques, and targeted core exercises to strengthen the uterus and pelvic floor muscles, improve circulation and digestion, exercise the spine and increase overall comfort. Yoga can help alleviate some of the common discomforts of pregnancy such as back pain, nausea, swelling, and sciatica. Yoga during pregnancy can also help women have a more enjoyable and comfortable birth experience and postpartum recovery.
Enjoy the company of being with other pregnant women while learning in a calm and peaceful environment.
Class Day/Time: Wednesday afternoons 4:15-5:15 pm. Start with the beginning of a session, or start right away! If you are joining the class mid-session, simply show up a few minutes before class to register. Your class fees will be pro-rated to reflect the time left in the session.
