Yoga for Beginners

 

Why Yoga? With regular practice, one is able to move, function, and breathe through life with more ease. Benefits of regular yoga practice includes improved strength, flexibility, focus and concentration, as well as balance, comfort, and a reduced stress-reaction. Multiple classes on a weekly basis are highly recomended for best results.

In this introductory class, experienced, certified yoga teachers lead beginning students through the basics of yoga with attention to the specific needs of each student. The course includes breathing techniques and methods for safely stretching out and strengthening the body, using precise alignment and form. Each class ends with deep relaxation. Yoga is a great way to develop and maintain a healthy lifestyle, feel good and enjoy the simple things in life. Yoga for beginners is suitable for all ages and no experience is needed to start.

After completing the Yoga for Beginners course, one may choose to repeat the course or continue with Yoga for all levels classes.
